Painting again...

Here are some pictures of the 3 paintings I did for my nephew and his room. And a page of the sketches I did before to think of ideas. It took a lot more time than I had expected, but I like how they turned out.

Stuffed Stuff

So being at home I find that I can really make anything I want. Lately I have gone back to making stuffed animals that have no real purpose. I mean kids cant really use them, they took to much time to be pulled apart and sucked on. But they might have to be because they just sit in my house. But I made 3 more none the less. A Cloud (because I love being back in Oregon), and Owl (because that is the only thing I could think to use closed eyes for), and a Popcicle (because its summer). So here they are with some sketchpages planning for them. 

Ukranian Easter Eggs

It has become a tradition in my family to make Ukranian style eggs for easter. My mom decided that since I was away at college she would send the materials to my apt. So I made some eggs with some people I know. We had fun on our day off taking 5-6 hours making eggs and watching movies. These are some pictures from that. 

This was probably my favorite egg. I have a thing for Paper Airplanes.

I made the Lightning bolts egg, the patterned egg, and the star one at the top. 

I made only the paper airlane one in this picture. 

I just decided to do some stuff that spelled stuff. This is what I came up with. Will do more soon, like really soon.

Wood Paintings

I recently had been taking pieces of wood from the wood shop scraps and trying to become a better painter. I used acrylic to pain these two. The octopus one is only about 6 in. high and the deer one is only 3 and a half in high. They are pretty small, but I like the way they look. 

These are some backgrounds I have made. They are supposed to be tiled and used becuase they can fit togeather. To make them I just drag and dropped everything from the photoshop stuff I had until that point. Its funny to see what colors I use and what it all mashed togeather looks like. Hope you like.
